The church in Corinth had an issue with elevating members over one another based on their gifts and abilities. They ranked one another in status. Yet, the Apostle Paul sets out to correct this fallacy showing that in the Kingdom of God there are no such distinctions, but that the body works together, honoring each part and their role.
