Our disappointment with God often keeps us from coming back to him. What a disappointment it was for Jesus' disciples who watched their master die on a cross. The resurrection story gives us hope because when God doesn't meet our expectations there may be something better waiting. God invites us to come and see the wonderful things he is up to in the midst of our disappointment so that we can go and tell of his good news.
