Prayer - Connected to the Vine

Jesus refers to himself as the "vine." This metaphor helps us understand the level at which we're connected to Jesus when we give our lives to him. What does this mean for our prayer life? It permeates everything and that we need to expect God to work in us, through pruning the things that lead to death, and through us in the ways we engage the world around us.
