How it all started...
Price Chapel was started in 1944 during a Church Planting movement in Utah led by Tom and Nellie Constance. 75 years later, the church has grown through the faith-filled sacrifices of its leaders.
In 1945 Carl and Dorthy Measell took a leap of faith and moved to Price to become the first full-time Pastors of Price Chapel.
After WWII ended, Max Sandervol donated his severance pay from the Army to the building fund and the church was able to purchase property on 200 East and begin building their own place to worship.
In 1990 the church took a faith-filled risk to buy the Breakaway Fitness building.
In 1996, Price Chapel, sent out 45 people with Pastor Carl Sitterud to start Desert Edge Chapel in Huntington. This group sacrificed greatly in order to start a Christian church in a city without one. Today it is still flourishing.
In 2012, the church blessed Pastor Jesse Kobe as he left to start Gospel Community Church in Price.
Throughout the years Price Chapel leaders have taken faith-filled risks to start new ministries, to reach unreached groups and promote the good news of Jesus locally, regionally and globally. Price Chapel has sent out many people to serve as Pastors, Missionaries and District Superintendents in the United States and around the world.
Price Chapel is a community of faith passionate about finding and following Jesus together. Over 450 people consider Price Chapel their church home.
Our church history is deep and significant, but we’re just getting started. Lean in and make history with us as we continue to take faith-filled risks for Jesus!

Where we are headed...
We want to see the love of Jesus transform our community and the world. We strive to extend His love to everyone we meet. We walk with our neighbors through the steep challenges life brings, introducing them to the One who offers true hope. Plus, we focus on discipling and mentoring new believers to become healthy, passionate Jesus followers.
