Freedom in Christ

Jesus has set us free from so many things, yet we fail to live in that freedom. Christ has set us free from condemnation for our sin, from earning God's favor, from religious performance. When we resist the freedom that has been bought for us, we stop "running the race" of faith, foul attitudes grow, and religious performance takes the place of earnest worship. We have the choice to run into the freedom of Christ or stumble back into slavery to sin, self, and the world.
