1 Corinthians 8 - Love Builds Up

The Corinthian church demonstrates their desire to live as Christ followers in a complex cultural backdrop. Idol worship and sacrifice were prevalent in Corinthian temples and were intertwined with the local economies in the market place. So, they asked Paul, "Can we eat food that was used for sacrifice to idols?" Paul's response sets the tone on how we deal with complex cultural issues and applying a biblical perspective to how we live in the midst of them.
