Dangerous Safety

Safety is not a godly virtue. There is wisdom in finding and securing safety; however, when we value it more than our pursuit of God and holiness, then we've fashioned it into an idol. The stories of Job and Esther, respectively, along with many other biblical heroes challenge our value of safety.
