Our beliefs about heaven impact the way we live on earth. Jesus instructed his disciples about life after death using language that we can easily misunderstand today. Jesus uses language of ancient betrothal and marriage to illustrate that our hope isn't in one day living in the Father's house in heaven, but in joining the father's house today!
